Bookkeeper - Temporary to Full-Time Opportunity in Pawtucket, RI

Our client in Pawtucket, Rhode Island is seeking a Bookkeeper to assist with day to day functions in the accounting department. The Bookkeeper with be responsible for overseeing accounts payable on a daily basis, prepare accounts receivable billing and processing receipts and deposits. The bookkeeper will also verify payroll, enter weekly payroll summary journal entries and prepare reports as required. This position will offer support to the Controller. Bookkeeper will oversee bank and general ledger account reconciliation, assist with month-end close and report preparation.Bookkeeping candidates should be flexible and have strong communication and organizational skills. Candidates should have an Associates Degree and 3+ years of experience. Previous experience with an ERP software is preferred.
